I should warn you…something strange happens to me when I talk about my work.

I get all fizzy-bubbly with excitement. I start getting giddy, filled with enthusiasm, artistic passion and- dare I say it- a rare self-confidence.

I’m forever inspired by old photo albums. That feeling you get snuggled up on the sofa, flicking through page after page. Taking in the faces of the people you love, seeing the world before you knew it.

If you’re lucky, you’ll have a parent or a grandparent curled up next to you. Stories told as if they were yesterday, memories tumbling out of them with every turn of the page.

And as a photographer, that’s the kinda vibe I’m going for. Photos where the colours are soft, but still true. Where the moments will never age, because they’re real.
